Scholarships

Each year the O’Fallon Kiwanis Club offers scholarships to graduating high school seniors. This year the Club offered two $500 O’Fallon Kiwanis Scholarships to area high school seniors who plan to continue their education by attending a school that offers a two or four-year degree or a technical certification. Technical certification would be training in a field such as auto mechanics, carpentry, welding, dental assistant, cosmetology, HVAC, EMT, law enforcement or similar fields. The focus of the rating mirrored the O’Fallon Kiwanis Club mission of service. Students who demonstrated involvement in extracurricular activities such as Key Club, community service, church activities, employment, demonstrated leadership, involvement in fundraisers, and school projects were given more consideration.
